Islands of Adventure

We went to islands of adventure yesterday. We met Betty Boop and that Cat in the Hat, toured Jurassic Park, dad went on a coaster, and we visited Harry Potter's Hogwarts. It was a chilly day and the park was packed! But we had a great time. Here are a few pics...

Sea World

We went to sea world yesterday. Dad got soaked on a water ride, Eli kept peeking out from under his blanket (mom and dad were trying to get him to nap!), we all watched the Shamu show, and Eli went on his first ride.

Universal Studios

Friday we all went to universal studios. Eli decided to have a blowout on the drive down and wrecked his shirt and pants, which was an interesting start to the day! But it was smooth sailing after that. Eli loved being in his stroller and people watching, and mom and dad loved being able to go on a few rides.

Swimming

There is a pool at the house we are staying in and Eli had a good time swimming this morning with auntie and Abby and Mason.

Eli slept a bit on the plane (but not much). A pill bottle proved more entertaining than any of the toys we brought for him. A nice big welcome from Eli's cousins when we arrived in Orlando.

On our way...

We flew to Florida yesterday to spend nine days here with Devin's family. It was an adventure traveling with Eli on the flights. Here he is getting ready to go at the Calgary airport. Our days of packing light are gone...

Eli and his valentine

Sydney the octopus came over to wish Eli a happy Halloween, and deliver popcorn balls she helped her mom make. Two of the cutest babies around! What a cute couple.

Snow Play

Happy Halloween

Eli is excited for his first Halloween! We are going to take him around to some friends' houses tonight, he's pumped! Here's a couple pics from the baby group Halloween party last Friday - too cute!

New bath toy

When on the road, you take what you can get. Even if it's a dasani bottle for a bath toy.

First hockey game

We went to watch daddy ref the hockey game in Moose Jaw when we were there. Eli really loved it!

Road Trip

We packed up the car and headed to Moose Jaw this weekend! Dev is reffing here so we made a little family trip out of it (for Dev, a bit different I'm sure than traveling with other officials... Ha ha. Times, how they have changed). Eli doesn't love traveling in the car so we had to play the same Sesame Street song over and over until he fell asleep (there is one that always keeps him quiet). After he fell asleep the silence was so nice we didn't even turn our music back on... We just drove for the last hour and a half in silence...!
Eli was much happier once we made it to the hotel.

Fall Walk

Well, all of a sudden summer is over and it's fall. The air is chilly these days but we still like to get out for walks! We just have to layer up a bit :)

Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a quiet but fun weekend. Devin was off Sunday and Monday and we cooked a big meal and hung out with Eli! We had a fun first thanksgiving with our little guy!

Pics in the Park

We took some pictures in the park this afternoon.  We tried to get some nice shots with the pretty leaves.  Daddy was a much better photographer than I was...!  Luckily a couple of Eli and Dad turned out at least...

Running is Tiring Mommy

We went for a run this afternoon in the park. I love fall. The trees look so pretty, and it was sunny and warm and the air was slightly cool. Perfect!
We don't have a running stroller but our stroller pushed great... And I guess I wasn't the only one who got a good work out - Soo tired mommy...

Teething again?

Eli had a rough night last night. He was up from 1:15am until 2:45am... And therefore so was mom! I think his teeth were bothering him again. Poor guy. Then his morning nap was only 45 minutes long before he woke up again. I finally got him down again just before lunch... and I wasn't going to take any chances so I covered up the doorbell!!!
