Pics in the Park

We took some pictures in the park this afternoon.  We tried to get some nice shots with the pretty leaves.  Daddy was a much better photographer than I was...!  Luckily a couple of Eli and Dad turned out at least...

Running is Tiring Mommy

We went for a run this afternoon in the park. I love fall. The trees look so pretty, and it was sunny and warm and the air was slightly cool. Perfect!
We don't have a running stroller but our stroller pushed great... And I guess I wasn't the only one who got a good work out - Soo tired mommy...

Teething again?

Eli had a rough night last night. He was up from 1:15am until 2:45am... And therefore so was mom! I think his teeth were bothering him again. Poor guy. Then his morning nap was only 45 minutes long before he woke up again. I finally got him down again just before lunch... and I wasn't going to take any chances so I covered up the doorbell!!!

Born this Way

We took Eli to his first Gay Pride festival today! It was downtown in the park. We had lots of fun visiting with friends, watching the dancing, eating ice cream (and leaves) and playing in the grass! Never too early to teach tolerance and acceptance of others! :)

New Toy

At the play date, Alice's mom told us about this cool walker toy she bought from Costco. So we headed out there afterwards to check it out. Eli thinks it's pretty cool!

Baby Play date

We went to Luca's to play this afternoon. Eli, Taven, Alice, and Luca had fun together! The only part Eli didn't like was when Alice pulled his hair. He cried so hard! I think he was just embarrassed he got beat up by a girl... Ha ha

Big night out...

Mom and dad's first night out sans Eli. We rocked it out with the Kerr's at the Sloan concert (and with about fifty other people, haha, the concert did not sell well). We had tons of fun. Thanks to Ty and Michele and Maddy for babysitting!

New Stroller

Somebody got a new umbrella stroller today... Zellers is closing out so we got it for 50% off - sweet deal! Will be perfect for taking to orlando in November.

Fun Saturday

We had a fun day today. First Eli and I woke dad up bright and early (poor guy had to work late last night) and we hit the farmer's market - our Saturday tradition! Then we had a lovely lunch at Earl's, and after nap time, some fun playtime. Eli loves his rings!

Teething!

We have a tooth! It's broken through and we can feel it and see it. Exciting! And maybe another is not far behind as poor Eli hasn't been himself the past few days. He doesn't like it when we leave the room and sometimes he just wants to be held. Today I learned I can put my make-up on with one hand! (I had to give him the toilet paper roll to play with so he wouldn't grab the mascara! I am learning...)

Memories...

I remember my mom dragging Stuart and I to the fabric store when we were young. Oh how I despised it! Nothing fun for a kid to do in a fabric store... Well we got a new bed and I thought maybe I could sew some pillows to go with it. So off to Fabricland we went. Sorry Eli... You will only hate it more and more as you get older...

7 months old!
